Achieve
Achieve is a year-round, four-year high school scholarship and enrichment program for under-served students from low-income families. Achieve's mission embraces more than academic excellence. By broadening the horizons of these young men and women through cultural, career and community service experiences, they emerge as young adults with the tools necessary to lead better lives. The ultimate goal of Achieve is to produce successful citizens who will in turn give back to their communities.

Mercy Corps
Mercy Corps is helping with the immediate needs of the people affected by the Tsunami Disaster. Their Cash for Work program pays many of the locals to clean up the area, giving them money to take care of their families.

Habitat For Humanity International
Habitat for Humanity plans to build transitional houses with verandas and sanitary facilities for Tsunami Relief.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
The foundation's mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment.

Women for Women International
The goal of Women for Women International is to take women from victim to survivor to active citizen. With the Emergency Response Fund, Women for Women International can move quickly to help women in post-conflict societies.

SOS Children's Villages offers an innovative alternative to foster care by providing children with safe, permanent families and homes.

March of Dimes
The March of Dimes is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality.

Art Start
Art Start provides under-served children and adolescents with opportunities to learn, create and communicate through the creative process. Art Start instills in their kids the confidence to ask important question, make independent choices, and pursue meaningful opportunities to share their ideas and dreams.

Debt, AIDS, Trade in Africa (DATA)
Bono, lead singer of the band U2, started DATA, a non-profit organization focused on reducing debt, fighting AIDS and improving trade in Africa. One of DATA's main goals is to reduce African debt, which would allow more money to improve health care and education.

Pasado’s Safe Haven
Pasado's Safe Haven is one of the country's premier animal sanctuaries dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs, cats and farm animals.

WINGS
WINGS is dedicated to helping uninsured and underinsured women afford cancer related treatments without sacrificing the welfare of their families.

National Domestic Violence Hotline
This hotline assists callers with local shelters, legal assistance, volunteering, advocacy, legislative issues and support groups.

Operation Smile
A private, not-for-profit volunteer medical services organization providing reconstructive surgery and related health care to indigent children and young adults in developing countries and the United States. Operation Smile now provides a network of resources to assist families in the U.S. with children with facial deformities.

The Garden Project
The Garden Project promotes valuable life skills like work ethic, self-confidence and literacy as well as gives prisoners and ex-offenders an opportunity to give back to their communities by teaching them the farming trade.

Mama’s Kitchen
Mama's Kitchen currently provides three meals a day to 380 people of all ages in the San Diego County.
